Segusino Furniture strives to bring you top quality furniture from Mexico following Fair Trade and environmentally sound ethics, protecting our local environment and sustaining the community.

Our hand made furniture features unique antique reclaimed timber, some up to 250 years old, and timbers from sustainable managed forests.

All of the timber is kiln dried stabilizing the timber protecting it from major cracking and splitting and also fumigating the wormed wood , thereby removing the use of harmful chemicals in the manufacturing process. The traditional hand made manufacturing processes employed by Segusino ensures our network of family owned factories in Puebla have a minimal impact on the environment. The very nature of the furniture’s waxed hand finishing means it can be easily refinished if it suffers any minor bumps of scratches. A regular coat of Segusino wax should ensure your furniture will enjoy not only a long life but it’s patina and character should increase with the years.

We have developed an industry that has single-handedly transformed a rural Mexican region into an industrious and entrepreneurial community that is both sustainable and thriving. We do not deal with firms that exploit cheap or child labour. We believe in providing the opportunities for people in the third world to earn a respectable living.
